What Our Customers Are Saying
I had an unusual roofing system that presented challenges for the installers. This cost them added time and expense. However, through the process they ignored this added challenge and installed my panels as promised. The crew installing on my home was great. It's wonderful to know a company that completely lives up to their promises. Also they offered rebates and credits that other companies failed to mention. We delt with three companies and are so happy we chose SolarCo.
I had never written a review before but felt compelled to share my experience with this wonderful company. Knowing that tax rebates are slated to expire soon, my husband and I had been researching solar companies for several months. We have heard the pitch from two companies. One was a large company that leases solar panels and the other was Solarco. For our long term needs purchasing with financing over 12 years makes more sense than leasing over 20. The Solarco sales rep was friendly and answered all of our questions. I can't say enough about the installation crew. They arrived on time, treated me and my house with respect. They went above and beyond. My interactions with the rest of the Solarco team have been equally good. They return calls promptly, then listen and respond to their clients. I just got the panels installed so I can't address cost savings yet. Overall, I recommend this local company.
Think Solar is not cost effective for you - Think Again. With an average electric bill of less than $80 per month I did not think Solar would be cost effective for me. I gathered up my data and went to show Zayith why it wasn't worthwhile for me. He did not give me a parrot type speech. I led the discussion, he answered my questions and provided me with corrected data. After seeing I would break even in 12 years or less, I decided to give Solar a try. The installation team was great! The did not do what was fastest or easiest. They did what was best. Instead of running conduit along the outside of the house, they ran it into the attic. When it came time to paint the conduit, I gave them touch up paint that was pretty close in color to the color of the stucco. It would have been close enough for me, but it wasn't close enough for them. So one of the team members went to Home Depot and bought the exact color needed. Now I have an installation that works great and looks great. SolarCo also went the extra mile in making sure all the incentives available were requested. Not only did they point out the contract needed to get the 30% federal tax credit, they submitted the incentive from the utility company for me as well. My advice if you are considering solar, is to go with SolarCo before another sunny day goes by.
We have been wanting to go solar for a couple of years now; however cost had prevented us from being able to step into this arena. We met with several different companies, but until we met with Solar Co it didn't make financial sense for our family. GOOD NEWS...we are now producing our own electricity, thanks to Solar Co! Their prices are competitive, their employees are professional and friendly, their work was exceptional, and they got it done quickly. Solar Co has an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau and is approved by the League of California Homeowners. We are so happy...THANK YOU SOLAR CO!
We've thought about getting solar for awhile but never pulled the trigger. Our neighbor recently got a solar system from SolarCo and after seeing their solar setup and how smoothly everything went with them we decided to give SolarCo a call and setup an appointment. We got Eugene as our solar consultant he was very knowledgeable and took us through the whole process. He looked at our electric bills for the last 12 months and we were able to find a system setup that would fit our needs. He even informed us of multiple finance options, we decided to use the HERO financing program. We had to tweak our system setup a little, when the engineers came to survey our roof and found out we didn't have enough room for a 6 kilowatt system. We went with a 5 kilowatt system. We were told that all their systems typically produce more than what they are rated for and they were right, we've seen ours go as high as 7 KWh. We were also worried about all of our tall trees, but the engineers placed the panels, so we didn't have to cut any down. The actual install went smooth, Tyler (I believe that was his name) was our main installer. They got everything set up in one day. They also had to upgrade our main electric panel which involved removing some of our house siding. I was worried that the new electric panel install would be noticeable, but Tyler replaced the affected siding and matched my house color perfectly, so it looks like it's always been there. The whole experience with SolarCo has been great, especially with a big investment like this, they answered all our questions and put my mind at ease. My wife loves it because she loves keeping the house at 70 degrees all the time! Our PG&E bills were horrendous before solar. When I look at our PG&E electric usage now, I smile when I see our negative KWh usage. I highly recommend the SolarCo! Ask for Eugene.
SolarCo treated my wife and I fantastically. Our sales rep Jake was very informative and helpful, overall a really awesome guy! Every person I have dealt with through this company has been so polite and promptly answered all of my questions. I would have no problem recommending this company to friends and family.
SolarCo was very professional through the whole process. They kept us informed at each step. They even came back out to our house when we had lost our wifi connection to the internet monitoring system due to our changing of our router and modem. They were patient with all of our questions. We recommended them to our best friends and neighbors. Our neighbors are now going with SolarCo too! We are very happy with SolarCo and we haven't even reached the summer months yet!
We couldn't be any happier with how well our new solar panels are performing. All aspects of the project have bet met or exceeded by SolarCo. People from the company have been a pleasure to work with, everybody on the phone has been friendly and helpful. This business is well run and should be given a serious chance to tell you about a system that works. Don't pay monthly to PG&E buy a system and let the sun do the work!
